Hi Paul,

On this topic of Agile for RFP's, I had a chance to partcipate in a seminar conducted by an Agile expert. As our company focuses & stresses more on agile methodolgy for our customers(ISV's), I was keen in getting to understand how Agile would work for Fixed Bid projects. Here is the comment from the Expert " We can provide a fixed estimate based on the scope available at present. During the course of the relationship, if the scope requires a change, we can follow a bucket process i.e., remove the least priority scope and introduce the important change. Time & Cost being constant,Scope can be a variable". Being an expert in agile methodologies probably you can share your thoughts on this. I would be glad to hear your thoughts on Agile for Fixed bid.
